Hands-on calculation of spectroscopy and dynamics in correlated quantum materials using Quanty

A one-week series of lectures and hands-on tutorials (bring your own laptop — Windows, Mac, or Linux) on the calculation of spectroscopy and dynamics in correlated quantum materials. Topics include:

• Real-frequency Dynamical Mean-field theory (DMFT)
• Atomic multiplet theory, crystal field theory (CF), charge-transfer ligand-field theory (CTMLFT), and Anderson impurity models (AI)
• X-ray spectroscopy: XAS, PES, and RIXS
• LDA based calculations (LDA+DMFT, LDA+MLFT, …) and parameterised versions that can be subsequently fitted to experiment
